Father's Birthday Book

To mark my father's 60th birthday, I designed a bespoke keepsake book - something deeply personal that he could carry with him on his sailing adventures. The goal was to create an object that reminded him of how loved he is while giving him a quiet boost of confidence when he needed it most. The front cover features a sequence of nautical signal flags that spell out “Happy Birthday Dad,” blending thoughtful detail with a design language that reflects his passion for sailing. Inside, the book weaves together anecdotes from family and friends, favourite motivational quotes, and curated photographs spanning every decade of his life- each page carefully designed to balance sentiment with a clean, timeless aesthetic.
